Clerical Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
The Clerical Receptionist performs a wide variety of duties as they relate to the company's policies and procedures. The Clerical Receptionist will provide day-to-day assistance to upper management. The Receptionist will perform daily activities for walk-in and over the phone patient service. The Clerical Receptionist will present a pleasant, professional and helpful manner to customers, employees, and the general public. She/he shall adhere to the policies and procedures set forth in company standards.
Essential Duties/Skills:
- To adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- To answer telephone and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- To maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding patient information and company information.
- To be proficient in general office duties that includes, but are not limited to, typing, filing, and data entry.
- Must monitor the front foyer for safety purposes. Must be aware of weather hazards, place caution sign on wet floors and monitor the rug(s).
- Check the CD Player each morning to ensure the on-hold message is being played for patients while on the phone
- To dress in a professional manner as dictated by the company and to greet customers, and any other visitors of the Company in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
- To perform additional duties as assigned by the employee's manager, VP of Operations, CEO and Company owners.
- Typing, data entry, filing, and office etiquette.
- Must be able to communicate in a verbal and written manner.
- Must be able to perform duties quickly with a high level of accuracy.
- Other duties required as needed.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required with preference given for additional college or professional training. Training will be provided for all pertinent electronic equipment the company utilizes.
Experience:
Previous experience as a receptionist or office personnel is preferred.
Supervision:
Responsible to: HR/Compliance Manager, VP of Operations, CEO and other Administrative positions.
Physical Necessities & Exposure Risk:
Light physical work with the majority of time spent in the offices. Exposure to infectious disease and hazardous materials will be minimum to none.
