Marketing Intern
Job Summary:
The Marketing Intern performs a wide variety of duties as they relate to company policy. This position is responsible for the promotion of the company philosophy and products and to establish and maintain company/client relationships. Marketing Interns will assist Home Care Coordinators in building a rapport both personally and professionally with referral sources. Will have the ability to act as a Home Care Coordinator when the HCC is unavailable or on vacation. Will assist with other jobs and sections of the company as needed. The Marketing Intern will observe all levels of the company’s policy and procedure and will pick up slack as directed.
Essential Duties/Skills:
- To comply with all company policies and procedures.
- To dress professionally as dictated by the company and to promote professionalism between the company and the customers.
- To enhance relationships with current referral sources and develop new accounts.
- Will relieve HCC of their duties when the HCC has scheduled time off or when they are unavailable due to business or sickness.
- Will cross-train with other job-descriptions as directed to help the flow of the company as a whole.
- To perform additional duties as needed.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required with preference given for additional college or additional training.
Experience:
Some experience in an office setting is recommended. This job description is designed as a learning tool for someone who is hoping to make a career in sales.
Supervision:
Responsible to: The VP of Marketing, HCC's and the Location Managers.
Physical Necessities & Exposure Risk:
The physical demands will be light to moderate lifting and a tremendous amount of travel. A random drug test is probable. Exposure to infectious disease and hazardous materials will be minimal to none.
