Premier Home Care is a top quality, comprehensive home health care and private duty agency. We offer a wide variety of in-home care services and home medical equipment to clients seeking to maintain their independence by aging in place or recovering from an injury or illness in the comfort of home.
What services do you provide?
We offer a wide array of comprehensive home care services. Our divisions include:
- Caregiver Services: Private duty care, homemaker services, personal care services, etc.
- Rehabilitation Services: Speech, physical, and occupational therapy care from certified and experienced rehabilitation therapists.
- Healthcare Products: An array of products to assist clients in therapy, health maintenance, or daily living activities, such as respiratory aides, ambulatory aides, patient aides.
- Home Safety and Home Accessibility Services

Does Premier Home Care offer services in my area?
We are proud to serve Central and Southeastern Kentucky and have Kentucky state certified offices in Louisville, Lexington, Richmond, Pikeville, London, and Elizabethtown. We are also licensed in Indiana.
Will I be able to reach someone after hours regarding my care?
All of Premier’s family of services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle any issue that may arise.
Are any of your services covered by Medicare?
Yes. Medicare covers most medical equipment and most rehabilitation services. However, only long-term insurance covers private duty services, such as companionship care, homemaker and personal care services. Home accessibility and remodeling services are not covered under Medicare or insurance and are considered private pay services.
How do I know if the services I need are covered?
Talk to your physician or long-term insurance provider to find out if the services you require are covered under Medicare. Our staff is also happy to assist you in determining the coverage you are eligible for.
Is Premier Home Care insured?
Yes, Premier Home Care is insured, bonded, and accredited.
